All part of an eight-stop national tour to find America's HopChef!
Featuring a full tasting of a broad spectrum of Ommegang brews paired with culinary creations from Miami's top chefs including David Hackett (The Biltmore Hotel), Alan Hughes (Embassy of Well Being and Debauchery,) Jacob Anaya (OTC), Sean Brasel (Meat Market), Andreu Silverman (Route 9), Michell Sanchez (Latin House Grill), Jason Pringle (DB Bistro) and Michael Meuse (Doubletree Hotel). Each chef will create one dish showcasing their imaginative beer and food pairing skills. The dishes, each paired with a specific Ommegang beer, will be served to a panel of judges and attendees to taste and score.
Tickets include samples of each chef’s signature dish and accompanying Ommegang beers as well as a commemorative Brewery Ommegang glass. A prestigious panel of judges, including Michael Schwartz (Chef), Neil Witte, (Master Cicerone), Will Blunt (StarChefs) Mike Sabin (Chef) and Jose Mendin (Chef), will be on-site to name the HopChef Miami winner.

The HopChef winner will be invited to the Grand Finale competition at Ommegang’s annual Belgium Comes to Cooperstown (BCTC) festival on August 9th
People’s Choice prize includes one year of first release seasonal Ommegang beers
The 2014 Grand Prize winner will receive a spotlight position on SAVEUR Magazine tastemakers board, a spotlight in SAVEUR Magazine & StarChefs.com editorial, and main stage showcase at StarChefs.com International Chef’s Congress and a showcase station with Brewery Ommegang at SAVEUR Summer BBQ, both in NYC
